Leave or Remain?

Is there still a choice?

Remain please

Seems like that's for best

Unless you have masochism on a grand scale and a fear of Pantone 480

They can't because the Range Rovers have broken down leaving them stranded in the arse end of nowhere, where they belong.

Helpful transcript if the above doesn't work -

US Embassy diplomat

“People haven’t yet internalized, the economy is going to tank. I better sit on my cash.

The EU27 says, We’re a club, here are our rules, you tell us how many of the rules you’re prepared to accept and we’ll kind of tell you where in the clubhouse you can go. That is not the British conception of what this is at all. They sort of see it as a negotiation between two equal parties.

But the British government is not interesting in telling people, you know, this thing that 52% of you said that you wanted, here are the range of options – there’s less good and then there’s very, very bad.

They haven’t actually done a lot of, sort of, macroeconomic modelling of this, almost, like, deliberately. Like, ‘We don’t want to know, because leaving is going to be great and its what people voted for so lets not spend government money on analysis, that suggests that maybe people got it wrong'”

Seneca Johnson – Deputy head of economic affairs

“You know, growth is starting to slow down but what we’re probably going to see is a longer term slower slide. Inflation went up from 0.5% to 3%, so it’s quite a significant increase… and that’s not inflation from a growing, bubbly economy.

That’s inflation from an outside shock. So, that’s the worst kind of inflation. That’s going to be a problem.

This coming at the end of a long period of austerity. People are very, very tired of it they’re very frustrated by it. And some of those longer term economic issues are some of the things that fueled brexit. So if brexit ends up not helping them, or not obviously helping people economically, that could have political knock-on effects.”

Embassy diplomat

” But if, I think, the economy sinks, then that’s going to put political pressure on the government. And for the people that voted to leave, they are terrified… because something they’ve been fighting to achieve for almost 40 years. I mean, its a generational struggle. They’ve now won and they’re absolutely terrified that its going to be snatched away from them.”

You are all wrong

It is simply about power

At the expense of absolutely everything

Take back control

Take the absolute control of the people

Enslave them

Repeal all the European laws that serve to protect and benefit the British people

At the expense of everything.

Anything.

At any cost

Pure greed

Pure bloody mindedness

In the knowledge that once the Prime Minister and fellow conspirators leave office they will receive the full protection of not only the law but also the police, special branch and security services

The people are thick

Theres no need to worry. The EU is going to collapse sooner rather than later. With anti immigration and anti EU parties having been elected in Italy, Austria, Hungary and a couple of others and the growing anti immigration and anti EU sentiment in germany and sweden its only a matter of time until this doomed experiment draws to its obviously forseeable conclusuion. Then normality can resume.

And what is that normality exactly?
Normality is what comes afterwards, when we can all get back to doing what we do once we realise that the world isnt going to end and were not going to loose our houses or shrivel up and die just because weve left Claud Junker and merkel behind. Of course those silly billys will try to make it as hard on us as possible, because they cant stand the reality that their little utopian adventure has been anything but utopia and countries are wanting to leave.

And we can discriminate people based on the colour of their skin or their fleeing from persecution.

I don't know anyone scared they'll lose their house or die? Everyone I know just thinks we're about to be royally screwed by the government as power is transferred away from us in the form of rights and to them in the form of laws. If it wasn't a conservative government in power I'd possibly have voted leave, but I can't trust them to do anything in our interests.

As for doing what we did before, we can't. We can't manufacture much anymore, we have limited raw materials or resources, I'm not entirely sure what we'll do but it sure won't be what we were doing before. What do you think we excel at, that other countries will buy?

Well ok. The post i replied to was basicly saying that anyone concerned with immigration ( just one string to the EU's bow) and its affect on multiple aspects of society can be branded as a racist, xenophobe blah blah blah. Its lazy and implies that 52% of the country voted to leave the EU because they are racist. Its a classic tactic impregnated into the minds of the public by the remain clowns who were hoping to pressure people into voting their way to prove they werent racist etc etc. Incase you didnt get it, the image is a jibe at such claims. Also note how he throws the word "extremist" along side right wing as a further barb, and to lump those who dont have the same opinion as akin to terrorists.
