Can't recommend either of them enough!
We didn't really get many photos as we were too busy having a fantastic time.
It's the 2nd time we've been and I'm already desperate to go again.

Just had a week up at Barmston,(just down from Bridlington). We went a few places, 1 of which was Whitby. Now this is somewhere I've wanted visit for years, I was so disappointed! Didn't have much going for it. Now Scarborough on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Only came home a day early due to 1 of Precious' cats being poorly.

Yes, we went to a restaurant on the front, I think it was called Trawlers, the fish was floating on a sea of oil, but was mahoosive and really lovely. Chips, could've been a bigger portion, but were nice all the same.
I've come to the conclusion that I should avoid fish & chips when on my hollibobs, I always meet them a few hours later, coming back up from whence they went down.

Airbnb booked for the azores, cost £162 for the week. It's a room in a shared place rather than a full apartment but means it's come in at about £140 each for the holiday!

Just booked a campervan for a week in Northern Ireland in October. I pick it up from Belfast airport and then intend to head towards the NW coast.

Any suggestions of places to see or stop over at welcome please.

Romania done! Put away any preconceived ideas about this place. It's phenomenal! After Bucharest we went up to the Carpathian mountains visiting Braşov and Sighişoara. There are no words to describe the magnificence of the mediaeval towns and unspoilt countryside. Cheap too!

I've only ever been to Dubrovnik on business and that was fifteen years ago, in a previous life but it always struck me as being one of the last places in Croatia I'd want to go for a holiday.
