You weren’t there so how do you know that the injury wasn’t life threatening?

I never inferred either way, just quoted what is on the side of every West Midlands ambulance! And on their website:

"West Midlands Ambulance Service is asking you to use your ambulance service wisely.
Please only call 999 in a life-threatening emergency. Thank you."

Your choice in these situations is to ring 999, ring 111, sort it yourself or do nothing.

999 is intended for situations where life may be in danger and puts your call higher up the agenda.

111 should be used where life is not in immediate danger and there is no significant risk of a dramatic escalation of the event.

999 will usually dispatch an ambulance, unless it is obviously unnecessary.

111 will result in a more leisurely assessment being done, often still resulting in an ambulance transfer in the end.

If it is clearly sortable yourself, then the path is obvious.

Ditto.

I would expect that a 'regular service user', such as the trampoline place is, would be fully conversant with the procedures.

Back in June, vowed never to fly again after being diverted to Manchester due to an emergency landing taking place as we approached brum, and luckily landing safely ourselves after being prepared for emergency evacuation of our own..

But bit the bullet and booked Jet2 again for next week....

Now my phones newsfeed is bombarding me daily with emergency situations

Decided rather than dieting to get a bikini body( well, big frumpy costume these days..) , might as well enjoy my stash of cider tonight :D

Remember my instructions.

Go on the 101 to Stoke, sit at the back and practice emergency egress every time it stops.

After you get to a reasonable standard, put the blindfold on and continue.

I'm sure the driver and other passengers will appreciate the additional entertainment.

Lots of kids screaming on my road today , i think its some sort of game of who can scream the loudest and create the most attention. Also , theres going to be a fleet of electrical contractors back around the avenue for more rewires tomorrow so lots of drilling and banging going on over the next 3 or 4 days .

....... im sorted though , just ordered some noise blanking headphones from amazon ;)

Having a beer or two in a real ale pub in Chorlton waiting for my son and then off to a great little Turkish restaurant we know before falling asleep at the United match later.

I might have to start cutting the grass again, the last time was about 8 weeks ago. I could get used to global warming.

I've had a really odd afternoon. I started clearing out some of the drawers I've not touched since moving in, and found some old photos. I posted a few on FB, and I included two that had my first proper GF in but only because they had other family members in. We haven't spoken a word in 18 years. My sister tagged her in one and we've spent 5 hours straight on messenger. Between that and suddenly deciding I wanted to listen to 90s rock music all day there has been an awful lot of reminiscing, and very little actual clearing out! :)

Very soon you'll be reminiscing about reminiscing
