Meanwhile, the 149 screen cinema completion has been put back again, and LXB the Jersey people have sold it for £8m. Wonder how much of that ultimately came out of taxpayers' pockets?

What is this, where will it be, and how do I prevent my husband from finding it?

I'm afraid I don't know but I have signed up to their mailing list so i should be getting updates. I can't wait. I love real ale, hence why I love Floodgate and No.7 and there changing beers.

Yes it is.

Mission Statement Candid Brewing Co. Limited is proposing to open a new venture at Units 4 & 5 Woodings Yard, Bailey Street, Stafford, focused on bringing people together in community around the growing national profile of craft beer. This will be a unique offering for Stafford complementing the small number of current beer-related businesses in the town centre. It will be the town centre’s first dedicated beer bottle shop and taproom - providing a wide, and ever-changing, selection of craft beers from across the UK in bottles, cans and keg - for consumption on site and at home.

Directors appear to be locals. Which is nice.

Looks like the old " cc " shop opposite the old McDonald's isn't going to become the calender club / halloween store this year, but a temporary Christmas pop up shop. Shame, there's loads of those already, but not a Halloween one .

I noticed this the other day looks a bit cheap and tacky but better than an empty building!

There appears to be plans to add a Timpsons concession in a hut outside of Asda by replacing one of the Trolley bays.
Yes they are doing the same at the Asda in Cannock must be a deal they have made, hopefully it doesn't mean the ones in the town close!

I don't know why Timpsons is lauded so much as an exemplar company, they haven't got a clue!

Bought Sketchleys/Mister Minit, closed down the branch inside Sainsburys Stafford and sold off Sketchleys to Johnsons ... and now years later they are reversing all of the decisnow ions, have bought Johnsons and setting up shops inside/adjacent to supermarkets!
