A "meat tax" could prevent almost 6,000 deaths per year in the UK, according to researchers, but should politicians be telling people what they can and can't eat?

If Trev keeps eating glass and his cut-up mouth needs looking at by the NHS every fortnight then Trev needs to be told trying to eat glass ain't what he ought to be doing.

The research results just keeps coming, the facts keep piling up, the right thing always shows it's face.

One million dogs a year, ouch!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-46309211

All we have to do* in this world is start treating ALL animals the same.
Though clearly the Western ideology, of keeping particular animals as pets plays a part in which animals we prefer to kill and then consume, is being taken on board across the globe.
Dogs in this instance.

It does help imo if you are an animal keeper, as a pet, that you're more likely to become vegan.

*honestly it's easy.

Went to the vegan fair in Liverpool today. Had a great time and ticked off a fair few vegan and ethical presents from the Christmas list. Soy candles made in yorkshire, recycled silver jewellery, hand made palm oil free soaps, bamboo cutlery and a tasty vegan Dahl and naan to top it all off. Thoroughly enjoyable day out!

try those :)

not vegan myself though so its the best i could come up with ;)

Sweet potato parcels looks nice!

In answer to @Glam s question, we have a roast dinner minus the meat and with onion gravy. I can't stand nut roast so an onion tart or those sweet potato parcels would make a tasty main me thinks!! We even have yourkshires, my friend has rescued battery hens in her garden living the life of Riley so I'm comfortable with having one of their eggs for my Christmas yourkshires. Add sprouts, roasties down in sunflower oil from our home grown spuds, brad sauce with oat milk. Xmas pud is vegan mostly and we use 'Oatly' cream. Will also get some vegan cheese to go with our crackers! Be tasty!!
