Aldi in Stafford has Helmanns vegan mayo in at the moment. It's so good I never noticed the difference from regular Hellmanns. I also picked up some vegan ginger biscuits and vegan hummus, quinoa and chick pea crisp type things. Worth a goosey if you're in that area!

I got some jackfruit and tofu there a couple of weeks back. The vegan jerky is also good, the black bean flavour especially. The texture is great.

Sainsbury's have vegan sausage rolls but King's. I had one the other day and liked it better than a real one, much less greasy.

Yet to try Hellmann's, though i have a jar ready with my name on it.
Side note; Vegenaise is pure magic and as a previous mayo (with hens menstrual cycle included) junky, i can say Vegenaise is a-ma-zing!
You tried it ky?

The Helmanns vegan mayo is almost identical to the one with eggs in. it's a 'YES' from me. Haivng said that it's produced by the dreadful Unilever conglomerate so I am wishing that Vegannaise is as good so I can support the little man, so to speak!!

No not yet.

Today I have this for lunch, it smelled amazing when I was cooking it.

That's very similar ingredients and quantities to a tagine I cook for a vegetarian friend except I use apricots instead of peaches and chick peas instead of the black beans.

I then separate the sauce and make one veggie version and one meat version.

The veggie version is probably suitable for Vegans but I wouldn't profess to understand whether it is or not.
