I have only ever heard a person use that word once, about forty years ago, and he was talking about my landlord at the time.

Can I recommend an outing to the cinema

The Favourite

I realise this maybe an unusual event

I have not been in a cinema this century.

I believe that I have been in a cinema no more than twenty times.

Tip

Arrive 15 minutes after advertised start time

It starts then

The times advertised at all cinemas are when adverts (which can drag on) and trailers start. Better for partons are seated if possible before the movie starts.

Plus if you like trailers it is a good, often they are better than the main feature :)

It’s been back in fashion since Vlad and Donald rose to power. (There may well be other candidates.) :tumbleweed:

Wait a minute ... the Parton ? They’re trying to discover that at the LHC !
Which is a bit weird, because Theresa May has already found it. :teef:

It's a very complicated particle is the parton. It has a number of sub-bosonic type sub particles (force carriers, or Obi Wan Kenobi particles as they're known in the trade... :teef: )

You've got the 'on good terms' sub particle, and the 'on bad terms' sub particle. Although at the moment the two sub particles are in superposition … :heyhey:

Entangled or what ? (The new House of Commons Motto.) :pint::tumbleweed::monkeydance:

(But the post is right, if you're disturbing everybody after the film has started, yer should be bombarded with high velocity Alpha particles.)

If I were the developer, I'd put in an offer on council depot land behind, plenty of parking then.

Without wishing to be cynical, is there a slight chance that the new owners will let the building deteriorate until it has to be demolished for safety reasons, so something new and more profitable could rise from the ashes?

They may be waiting for a very long time as far as I can see the building is structurally sound. The only issue of course is the smashed windows, the frames would be replaced anyway..

Well it's gonna be left to rot anyway . The idea for it to be residential has been declined by the council.
