Hi if you are looking for country side the villages around Stafford are lovely and some have wonderful accessibility for the motorway if that's needed for work. I'd say all schools are decent in Stafford and depends how you judge a school. League tables and SATS results are not always the best indicators but I know some parents swear by them. As i said I really don't think there is a "Bad" school but some are more sought after and house prices tends to be higher around those schools.
Hope thats helps.

I ask a civil question and expect a civil answer, like some nice people have given me...
I don't expect and want rude replies like " stay where you are then"
If your not going to comment with a proper reply to the question on what I've asked, then don't comment at all, as I've heard plenty from disrespectful people, maybe you should move to the city youd blend in well..Thanks

There is absolutely no need to be rude, if, as you say, your daughter has also posted the same request, then why did you do the same?
Usually 1 is sufficient.

I was replying to Tilly who said that quote to me, I replied to you saying my daughter had asked too..
I didn't know my daughter had asked the same time as me, as she doesn't live with me..So it doesn't really matter if we both asked different questions also..And my 1st reply was rude, my 2nd was from a very nice person, who was kind enough to answer what I asked..
And why am I getting sarcastic replies from people, instead of answering the question I asked..

Thank you to the very nice person who answered my question...
Tilly is not representative of this forum, he mainly speaks gibberish and lists of random words.

One thing to keep in mind is where you will work, although a minor point, when the M6 snarls up, the town does too.
There are some bad areas of Stafford but on the whole its nice, it might be a case of we have looked at x what's it like?

Hi, there has been a few threads over the years that might answer some of your queries. If you search ‘moving to Stafford’ you should find them. In general I don’t think there are any really bad schools just some are better than others. The bonus of Stafford is the transportation links, two motorway junctions and a train station that can easily get you to London, Birmingham etc.. much quicker than you can drive and there are plenty of property within a short walking distance of the station. I know people say it gets gridlocked but it’s all relative and if you’re from a city the traffic is probably is much better than what you may be used to. I hope you find somewhere your interested in maybe people can help you in bit more detail then.

I would leave the 'to' out of the search and try just 'moving stafford', to avoid a few spurious results.

As @darben says, there are loads of previous threads along much the same lines.

Searches for various other local placenames will also bring up a few interesting threads.

A budget would be useful
That's not very usefull..
Asking what kind of budget we're talking about seems eminently sensible - £1? £100,000 £250,000 ?what? - giving an idea of what kind of budget you are operating on is 'not very usefull (sic)'? Eh? It is kind of important in regard to what/where you might want to start looking.

Have you an unceasing cauldron of money that spews cash at your feet such that matters of mere 'price' are as nothing to you?

I ask a civil question and expect a civil answer...
Asked one, got one, was a dick about it, was dicked in return.

So, how much money would you ideally like to spend in procuring this suburban dream?
