We'll be interacting closely with the facebook group set up in respect of this tragedy. Our staff, volunteers, and clients, are all feeling the devastating ripples this has created throughout our small but tight community. Myself in particular not only as a professional but as a parent of a young child living only a stone's throw away.
We don't have much room but we've agreed to hold any donations. Currently we're led to believe that the need will be for adult mens L/XL clothes, adult ladies 12-14 clothes, and boys 2-3yrs clothes, along with anything you feel may help in some small way to rebuild their material lives. However, we'll also be actively promoting the two online crowdfunders that have been set up, and we hope they smash the targets, these poor people have 4 funerals to arrange and the last thing they need is money trouble. Links below.
Anything else we can do, we will do our best.

Have heard there is a charity game on at Stafford Town, Riverway/Fairway, on Friday evening, anyone know any details? Minutes silence before last night at Rangers Staffs cup game, was VERY well observed! As soon as I have more information about the Charity game I will post it.

It may be worth noting that I believe that access from Riverway is only available to pedestrians and cyclists - motor vehicles should use the fairway entrance.

Unimaginably awful - terrible in the most proper sense of the word.

Most heartfelt sympathies with all caught up in it.

It's safe to say this tragic event has resonated with us all. As parents, as neighbours, as members of the community, and even simply as human beings.
We can't ever begin to imagine what this family will have to go through in the coming months, years, and often it's hard to know what to do to help because so many bases have already been covered by the team of people who have been working relentlessly to collate and organise the donations.
Our centre has been overwhelmed not just by items coming through the door but by emotion, it's been difficult to even look at the amount of good that's being done without shedding a tear.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all who have donated so far, through financial, logistical and material means, and who have given their time to help a family who in many cases, they don't even know. We'll make sure all the goodwill messages and notes get to the right place in due course.
We do have a little room left for items, but we're still asking that people liaise with the facebook help group before dropping items into us so that we don't have too many duplicates.
A great deal of thanks also goes to those who wanted to chip in who we've had to turn away, either because their items were duplicate, or because we're over-run by volunteers already.

I've read that a lady living nearby has taken in the families young kitten and looking after it as well . Well done to her as well as everyone else who has come together to help at this sad time.

The Cops say -

We have made two arrests at around 1:30pm (Feb 8) following a house fire in Stafford on Tuesday.

Following an update from investigators into the probable cause of the fire we have arrested a 24-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence.

This incident has had a huge impact on the community and we understand there will be confusion and a demand for information.

We would urge people not to speculate as to what may have happened and appeal for patience as the investigation continues.

We should all bear the last line in mind....

In the latest update, Stafford & Rural homes have put an application in to demolish the house. Said work would start in the next few days, after the house has been cleared.
