Stafford Rangers - New Start and The Way Forward.

They cut their costs and pay the price with relegation. Cutting your cloth accordingly is what happens when people don't come out and support you.
Rangers are averaging well over 500 while at the wrong end of the table while Hednesford have had a few crowds under 300 and you wonder how a club can run such a ground on those crowds? Rangers are also increasingly a community club. This Summer sees the club hold their first open air cinemas, with 1000 tickets already selling out for Bohemian Rhapsody while tickets for The Greatest Showman are selling well. Increasing events in the club and availability for events and functions can only see things improve.

300 people in a ground like that, then no wonder it is for sale.

Plans are now being put into place for a big charity day on Sunday 28th April.
A sponsored walk, junior matches, a legends game and a celebrity game, plus line dancing in the club and other vents. Chris Curtis will be handing out flyers and sponsorship forms in the area of Sainsburys on March 9th, as there will be a park run taking place.
All of this has been driven by the initial fund raiser organised by the late Jon Downing, with funds being split between the club, Motor Neurone Disease Association and Katharine House Hospice.
More community involvement from the club and an aim to grow this on a yearly basis.

Sorry, but imho opinion the fella's artistry's admirable; a lot of hard work has gone in to his creations, he does no one any harm and I wish there were more at the club with his gumption. He makes me smile when I see him, even when when standing in front of me. But let's face it, only a short bloke so even with 'that' titfer you can see over him! ;)

I'm on that photo. Basil has captured my best side! Ha.

The chap with the trophy sign is a lovely bloke and we've asked him if he would provide some signs for the shed end stand, which he has agreed to do.

I'm confident that we will still in the division next season. I'm hopeful that the new director will bring additional investment which will improve the team and ground etc.
