Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Of course it isn't. It's a mighty world famous example of British Engineering. Taj Mahal ? Pyramids ? Hoover Dam ? .. PAH !! mere Lego models compared to this.

I went into our Lidl yesterday, served by Alfie. He couldn't have been more disinterested in the job if you paid him. Passed my stuff thru the scanner beepy thingy, didn't even sling them down to me, left it all in a pile just to the side. Wasn't even a thank you after I paid.
Shit choice in flowers by the main door too.

Sounds perfect, as little human interaction as possible is exactly how I like to shop.

I love Lidl and Aldi, especially for the random furniture and DIY tools - picked up quite a few things over the past year from both. Most recent purchase being a 150 bar pressure washer for a mere £80

Well folks, our new studio opens this week. It has been a lot of effort turning an office that had been empty for 12 years into a space suitable for dance, yoga, fitness etc but we got there (my OH is down there at the moment finishing off a bit of paintwork). We have a number of teachers running classes from here daytimes and evenings including The Well Nest.

Please share and show your support. The studio is also available for hire for dance and fitness teachers needing a new venue - more details here

We are hoping that we can make this a dance/arts hub that can be used by lots of teachers as their 'home' and provide a great facility for the people of Stafford.

There's a Polski type shop on Skid Row - when did that happen?

Does kyoto know?

Are we entering the end times before Brexit can properly reverse it?

I have already crushed the cyanide tablet hidden in my molar just in case.

About a month ago now. The landlord of that row of shops has gutted the lot up to cash converters and has split the units up into smaller ones with cheaper monthly rents, think most of them are between 300-500 a month. Bit of a mini market street there, but fair play to him, better than empty units.

We think it is a Romanian shop by decoding the colours on the sign, a Stafford first? I agree, much better to see an occupied shop than an empty one.
