Emergencies & Out of Hours Service:
Outside surgery hours (6.30pm to 8.00am and weekends) there is an Out of Hours Service for urgent problems that cannot wait until the next day. If you telephone NHS 111 calls are free from mobiles and landlines and you will automatically be put through to an adviser.

Dependent on circumstances you may be given telephone advice, offered an appointment at the out-of-hours centre (Stafford Primary Care Centre), visited or have an ambulance booked if appropriate.

If you are asked to attend the out-of-hours centre it is located adjacent to the Accident & Emergency Department at Staffordshire General Hospital.
