Well.....after me piling a few pounds on stuffing my face these past few weeks ,after being told I wasn't getting to go abroad again anytime soon......suddenly get told this morning that it's probably a good idea to go after all. (Hasn't admitted that I was right all along, sounds like someone at his works has told him he's got some bloody stupid ideas . He listens to them!)
The holiday that I originally wanted isn't available anymore, and not even getting my hopes up looking for other options incase he changes his mind again.
But just incase...... ;) the diet starts again to get rid of those so easily gained , but so hard to lose again pounds :(

We’re at our place in Spain, got into a lovely routine of a walk in the morning to get fresh bread, then breakfast on the balcony with lovely sea and pool views.
Relaxing, reading, then a dip in the pool.
Salad lunch, more reading and relaxing.
Late afternoon we head to the beach boardwalk and walk a few miles, stopping off at a local chinguirito for a drink.
Back home to the apartment. Gin and tonic on the balcony then a stroll to a local restaurant.
Stroll back down the hill and caught another lovely sunset tonight.

Too much strolling going on, sounds pretty strenuous to me.

Yes, sort of!

We’ve had our place for 16 years and usually just drive to places, even if they are very close.

This time, due to husbands health wake up call and a general “lets be healthier” mentality, we’ve decided to walk more.

It’s been amazing. We’ve noticed things that we’ve not noticed before whizzing past in the car.
We’ve been walking miles up and down the coast, finding little beach bars, and restaurants.

And we certainly wouldn’t have had time before, in the car, to take photos of the lovely sunsets.

I am, and will always be the first to hold my stubby fingered hand up and say that I am fat and really unfit. Just got the push bike out for the first time in over 7yrs, rode it as far as the common up the Isabel trail, turned round and come home again. My poor knees and legs!
Apologies to those I passed on the way, they must've thought the line was open to trains again the amount of puffing and wheezing I was doing.
I've done it once, therefore I can/will do it again. Who knows, I might pluck up the courage to ride it to work. If the weather's nice.

Massive apologies to everyone on the route between the Doxey Road and St Georges today, I've decided to go in on the bike. The sight of my rear end in the saddle may cause a few drivers to die laughing at the wheel.
I shall be fit for no purpose once I get there, but I have a very good parking space at the mo, and don't want to lose it.

Decided going to the pub on an empty stomach probably wasn't such a good idea after all  Can remember having the pork chop , I'd got out of the freezer for tea, between 2 sliced of bread and butter when we got back. First ever pork chop sandwich :D
Can't remember washing up , but must have done as when I got up for paracetamol a 4am expecting a greasy mess, the kitchen was clean and tidy. (Hubby wouldn't have done it).

Can remember falling over when I went to feed the neighbours cat as I straightened it's bedding ...going round to give him his breakfast now and making sure he isn't a flattened puss ...

Just had a stand-off with Mr bully black cat who badly beats my neighbours cat up (as well as all the other cats around, he really is a bully!).
He was sitting in their back garden waiting to attack. Clapping my hands resulted in me being hissed and growled at. Kicking a soft ball close to where he was crouching didn't get him to move from his attacking posture. A cup of water thrown in his direction just resulted in more hissing and growling and again showing me his very long sharp gnashers........with fuss puss cowering behind me, like cowards we retreated inside .Mr black cat eventually strolls off with a look of "No-one messes with me-I won that round", with a detour past the patio windows .....once he was out of sight fuss puss strolls out "Let me at him !!!".

Finished the barge boards and soffits on the front of the house in PVC cladding at last, which was interesting, as the tablets I am on have the side effect of making me giddy and my balance a bit off, I did not need that at the top of a ladder. :o

Probably the most funniest (I mean this sincerely) and most self deprecating post I've read all year on here. However, please do not give up the exercise because of idiots. I am fairly slim and innocuous looking, yet I still get abuse from Jeremy Kyle rejects when I'm out exercising. It won't get any easier, but if you do it long enough, it will become a way of life. It's about the mindset just as much as the fitness.
