Mine was a 1992 Rover Metro 100s in Red.....took 3 attempts to write it off

2 rear enders and finally someone T-boning me drivers side on the A-piller.....A fairly strong car as the guy who hit me was doing 60 and was 3 times of the alcohol limit.....I walked away with just bruised ankles.

You are very fortunate that none of the accidents involved a frontal collision.

There is sometimes a nicely kept Metro at the Glover Street tyre place.

Very, first rear ender was an 8 month pregnant lady who just didn't see the red light I was sat at on Beacon side....Insurance paid out..Cat C write off...Second was at Frog island in Leicester, sat at some red lights and some fine chaps who I presume were from the middle east smashed into the back of me at about 20--30mph and had the audacity to shout at me as to why I had stopped...I calmly told them "because it was a red light....d*ckhead..." at which point an off duty copper pulled up on his bike.....their insurance paid out again...Cat C write off again :lol::lol::lol::lol: Paid £500 for it when I bought it.....made over £1000 from insurance payouts.....the A-piller collision was the final nail in the coffin for it.

I've seen this running around the town a few times....really nice example of an early Metro.

This was what my fine piece of British Engineering looked like..
