Elderly man out walking his dog last night near Portarlington fell into the ditch & couldn’t get out. Jack the Dog stayed by his side & showed Gardaí where he was. Even when ambulance arrived Jack wouldn’t rest unless he could see him! Owner and Jack home now

Someone who was actually pleased when the lads charged him today.
That reminded me of this old joke
Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks.
They charged one and let the other one off

Apparently one of the suspects is 6'5 and the other is 4"8.
The police are looking high and low.

One would hope so.
There was a helicopter involved in the search, too - they would just about be able to find a speed that was reasonable for both of them, I suppose.

Probably cheating here as the traffic involved is the International Space Station, and stopping for a view would result in extreme stress to the toilet facilities onboard at the very least.
But what a view they had this week ? Going over the Kuril Islands to the northeast of Japan they witnessed an eruption from the Raikoke volcano. One of the most active parts of the 'Ring of Fire,' this is one of those bleak uninhabited islands that form the Kurils.
Definitely doesn't look like a place you'd want to stop !! Much better viewed from 250 miles up.
