I note that a sign has appeared at the Madford roundabout, proclaiming the imminent arrival of a long period of delays.

I have received notice that Sandon Road is to be "resurfaced", using the gravel and gunge method, at some undefined point in the near future. A shame, really, it seems to be still largely OK north of Lotus lights, apart from the many Severn Trent bodges.

I note that the speed limit in the 'urban' part of Norton Bridge dropped from 40 to 30 and the northern end of the 40 limit has extended a few hundred yards, over the railway bridge to the entrance of the Hospice warehouse.
I have also noted that the other end of the 40 limit now extends all the way from where it originally ended, by the "station car park", right over the railway bridge and past the farm adjacent to Izaak Walton's Cottage.

I feel like complaining to the council about this gravel coating because it is wrecking my paintwork

Indeed. My bonnet has more scratches than I can count. I’ve had to clear coat them just to avoid rusting, and will probably need to detail it before I return/sell it.

Doesn’t help that Nissan paint is soft as warm shit

(Has admin given up on word filters now?)

Spare a thought for the guys cleaning the cars at the Peugeot garage on the Newport Road, they've been out there all day trying to keep the cars looking shiny and new.

Baswich Lane is closed to repair the middle bridge which was damaged by two idiots deciding to drive into it.

Well at least I think it is. With SCC, it could be shut just for the hell of it.

Is it open yet?

Are the Saltworks accessible from Dormans?
