Interestingly, perhaps, Greenland is one of the two countries (and a small island) that have previously "left Europe" without all the ludicrous fuss that we've seen around us for the last three years.

Yes … only to face a possible (although I suspect unlikely) being taken over by the US of A … (a f***ing big golf course in anybody's book. :teef: )

(Does anybody see any irony here, given we might go the same way ?)

My advice to the Greenlanders …. (my partial Salop roots showing through) …. keep several flags in the attic, look out of the window now and again to see who's winning, and deploy the rags on a stick accordingly. :heyhey:

PS: I was in Greenland in 1984. Did a couple of trips to the 'Black Angel Mine' in mid-summer, the only time a big ship could get up there, to load lead, zinc and silver ore. Phenomenally rich produce. I've since looked at that site on Google Earth and it's utterly remarkable the ice retreat … (Google Earth dated from 2012) … from when I was there.
So much so they're talking about re-opening the mine, which had reached it's limit on available ice-free terrain.
I guess Donald figures he suddenly believes in climate change when there's a few bucks in it …. :gonk:

Did the one in Newcastle a few years ago and enjoyed it. That had a few rooms so themes were varied. Does this just have one room or is there a choice?

We did this today and really really enjoyed it! Great fun. Great guys that run it too. Can’t wait for the second room to open!

Also we got a time of 46 minutes which is apparently very good for a group who’ve never done an escape room before. Not to brag or anything.
