Rather yesterday, the normally lovely and fragrant @Jade-clothing looking decidedly worse for wear. Reckoned she has a bug. I spoke to her from a short distance.

Almost bumped into this lovely lady, again. She looked like she was scouring the pavement for lost 10p pieces, miles away in her own little world. Didn't see me for a few minutes.
Always a pleasure to pass the time of day with her.

About roughly 4hrs ago, i saw around 14 army lorries heading toward eccleshall accompanied by 6 ish police cars. The lorries were loaded with sumat, 1 or 2 seemed to have what looked like rockets attached to them

Could be just a typical night in Eccleshall !! Everybody knows Eccleshall makes Mordor look like Disneyland. :teef:

This could be a QRF event taking place at Swynnerton.

I used to be in the army and we, alongside the emergency services and local journalists, would take part in a staged major disaster events in order to practice for a real event. These events often had police escorts & road blocks etc in order to make the event as real as it could be.

When I was i part of the QRF - quick reaction force - the events took place in the early hours of the morning in order not to disturb or inconvenience the locals.

In terms of the rockets, I'm not sure what that could be. I used to be in the air defence and we had missiles, later in my career we had a light gun, which is a big gun that you tow with a lorry.

I recently met 2 famous people in Stafford, whilst drinking at the Slaters bar.

I didn't know either of them were famous until my wife told me that one of the guys was a famous model and a reality TV star. He was a really nice chap that has made Stafford his home and he loves the place. He had a selfie with my wife, which she loved.

The mate of the guy above, is a champion heavyweight boxer - also famous. He also lives in Stafford. Given that I didn't know either of them I wasn't awe struck, however the wife was!

I never realised Stafford was such a hotbed for 'famous' people.

I know the following famous people live in Stafford, anymore?

Brian little
Sue Nicolls
Jet - from gladiator
Lighting - as above
Jon Witney - former walsall manager

Neil Morrissey no longer lives in Stafford but he's still a regular visitor to the area to see his family.
