* wonders * having undervalued someone's property whilst compulsory purchasing it, does one then overvalue it when giving it back?

Is it just put back on the market?

Does the previous owner get first dibs?

Could the owner of a compulsory purchased house end up buying it back at a profit?

Spawn2 went off for her first day at Rodbaston today. She made sure she was at the bus stop 10 minutes before she needed to be and waited for the transport. Unfortunately they had made a mistake on the pickup timetable and hadn't put opposite Lidl so poor Spawn 2 is stood on the wrong side of the road and because she had never seen the transport bus before didn't realise when she missed it. Cue me calling the college to query the bus after 40 mins of her waiting. Luckily they were lovely and sent out someone to pick her up so she was only about 20 mins late. Fingers crossed the rest of the day goes smoothly for her.

All went to plan this morning. She really enjoyed yesterday. A big step for her as she has spent years refusing to be anywhere where there are more than half a dozen people. She might even have made a friend. She's not had a friend since she was 11.

Update: Apparently we have a Mirabelle Plum Tree, a fruit that is federally banned in the states and is a rather expensive plum to buy (and seems to barely be available anywhere)

We were going to uproot the dwarf plum tree too, it’s staying now though.

Common as muck in France.

Shark is the way! Far better than Dyson

S

It came today @stoofer34

Yes , i agree , its really good for shifting the dog hair.
...Also the amount of dust it removed was shocking , i thought the carpet was pretty clean but this thing actually filled the container with more crap.

So good in fact that ive given the Dyson away to someone in need.

I think I might go for one of them. I have a Dyson ball type vacuum and it's a machine from the darkest recesses of hell. Doesn't fit any kind of sensible storage, as an obstacle breaks legs at every opportunity and is like a rogue weapons drone on steroids in use.

I dream of putting it away with a sledge hammer … :grr:

Insert usual husband rant (you all know the score by now), complaint about a slightly sore back and the existence of tuna :urgh::barf:. It's Spawn4's birthday and she loves tuna pasta bake hence I'm having to deal with the vile stuff.
