I do believe that Theodora Clarke (Jason Rees Moggs niece ) has been seen out and about in Stafford and is actively looking to represent Stafford.
She’s definitely not a local.

You mean Theodora Roosevelt Clarke, the daughter of Sir Charles Mansfield Tobias, 6th Baronet of Dunham Lodge, Norfolk?
Well, I'm sure she'll get on well with Lord Stafford.

Enjoying a drop of red.

Sounds like your typical former Riso pupil then.

If elected I'm sure she'll fit in well round here.

This may be the only time I'm glad I live in Bill Cash's constituency.

There's a generation who love people who talk like Rees Mogg.

There's a terrible line of thought that says if we had listened to Bill Cash all those years ago then we would not have ended up in this ludicrous situation.

Well on the way out .....

"
Tory MP Jeremy Lefroy tells the PM that with freedom of speech - which they both agree with - "comes responsibility".

"And sometimes that responsibility means not saying what perhaps one might like not to say," Mr Lefroy suggests, citing words such as "surrender".

He also refers to Aesop's fable of the wind and the sun - which suggests persuasion is often more effective than using force.

"Maybe he should be the sun king and not the king of wind," suggests Mr Lefroy."

As opposed to a choice between Louis XIV or being full of hot air?

Already tried to be Tory MP in Bristol 2 years ago and failed.... You'd think they'd want a local person involved....

I used to watch Game of Thrones from afar on the TV. It never occurred to me I'd actually be in it one day !!! :heyhey:

What's the worst that can happen ?

Thinking about this a bit more, it suggests to me that they were worried that The Brexit Party could win the seat.

My father is going to love someone like that as a candidate... :/

I still can't get my head around Lefroy. He's a remainer. But he votes with the government against the act that would prevent no deal, voted with the government on a GE, voted no to disclosure of the Prorogation communications...

And yet still has enough spine to tell Boj (it's Boj now, BoJo sounds too friendly and buddy-buddy) to stop using negative words like Surrender.
