An hour and forty five minutes to get from Sandon Road to New Cross this afternoon - I had to pick the victim up from Highfield Grove, that bit alone took forty minutes.

I went to Screwfix on my way home from work (I'd normally get off at junction 12). Good informed me it would be 13 minutes quicker to go the 5 extra miles via 14, rather than getting off at 13.

Council continues to do a great job, cutting down dangerous trees on Doxey Marshes and giving us pile driving music that can be enjoyed miles away. Hopton residentshave good reception, I note.

Yes the whole of the centre of town seemed to be snarled up, not helped by temp lights by the railway bridge on Newport Road.

Luckily for me i was entirely unaffected because i was on my plinth.
It's a bit of a stretch for me to cycle the 17 miles to work every day. Only chance I'd have would be on my road bike but they roads I'd need to use are just too busy.

It is often quicker to go that way into Stafford.

Right now even if you’re going up to the Beaconside end of Stafford, J13 is quicker when town is clear due to the M6 works between 13 and 14.

I imagine usually it’s quicker to enter via 14 if they aren’t limiting the speed to 50mph

Only another 6 months of it (pile driving) as far as I am aware.
