We are under attack

It's a scenario

It's a kind of open air theatre

It's involved quite a lot of the military

And a few towns and cities

It should be over by Monday

So if you see strange things going on

It's probably everything back to normal

There used to be a helicopter training school just up the road from Shawbury, at Tern Hill. I worked there for a bit long ago. I think it's gone over to the army now. I suppose it's all that flat country over that way that's appealing. The Shropshire Plain has a few airfields scattered about the place. I've travelled out to Snowdonia that way via Whitchurch and it's astonishing to think that the Welsh border is less than 30 miles from the centre of Stafford (as the fly crows) when you take that route. You suddenly realise that when you see Araf written on the road.

They still have helicopters flying from Tern Hill. They quite often go over the farm where my sister lives.

I was all ready to set off a few fireworks and crack open the champagne.
1 of the diggers across the way seemed to have broken down just a bit ago.
Sadly, it's been fixed. Borrox.

The sooner they get it done, the sooner what passes for normality in Castletown can resume.

Glam. Next time those helicopters appear, put one of these tee shirts on, and go out and give em shit. If that fails, point them towards Lucy's house.

Rather pissed off, after getting up and showered extra early before the plumber arrived. Just messaged him to see if he knew approximate time as he hadn't rung as promised.....not coming today after all. :(

( I know jobs can take longer than planned, but a quick phone call to say not actually coming would have been appreciated! )

Hoping the other 2 who turned up earlier in the week actually get back to me with their quotes now.........

Edit that to....one has just got back, 1 more to come ;)
