It could have been KIRKHAM AND NICHOLSON.
Keith Kirkham sold out and it became Nicholsons

That bit is actually Salter Street, if that matters.
Although, Nicholson's claim an address on Market Street, despite the Salter Street sign being right by their door.
Eastgate Street is very nearly an anagram of "estate agents", and that area has always had a 'good' selection.

No idea, I can just remember her photo in the Newsletter every week, advertising homes for sale. Thought her name were a bit poshe for round here.

I remember Barber & Woolcock being around that area as well about that time.

Rayella Booth's was at 40 Eastgate Street. It became Evans & Evans, and is now Bridgfords.
