Had to walk into town for an appointment . Would like to thank the few nice drivers this afternoon on the Lichfield road who actually tried to avoid soaking me (lady in red coat) as they approached the massive puddles and flooded gutters. Especially the Arriva bus driver who slowed right down as he passed me on Radford bridge , and the black car at top of Radford bank who suddenly realised and got right over last minute to avoid me getting a faceful :) (Still got a good soaking from tidal waves from those who weren't so considerate ) .

Could do with someone inventing a brolly with a floor length side panel .....

You'll find that's because Weeping Cross have a virtual monopoly across Stafford, exist solely to make money for the partners and business managers and are utter crap.

Is the Stone Road GP under them? We moved the wife there specifically because Beaconside (round the corner from us) were so absolutely useless.

Had my driving test cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, gotta wait 2 months now as the only other date I'm in Jordan :(

Give one of the slot monitors a go, I used one and got a new driving test pretty damn quickly

Stone Rd? Or Holmcroft? I can confirm that Holmcroft are useless too....

Remembering my younger childhood days when my parents went across the road to Highfields junior school to vote. I thought they said 'boating' and always imagined the school hall filled with water and my parents rowing across ...

My friend did that and ended doing her test in another town that she was unfamiliar with and failed.

Not sure if you can pick and choose the location so best check first.

The one I used let you pick location, some of them are crap though.

We lived on West Way (49) , right facing Highfield Grove. I went to the infant school (only real memories was doing PE in my navy nickers  ) and then we moved to Baswich when I was 7 .

Just driven down to Aldi to do my third restock of xmas ciders ..... hubby nearly had a fit when I got home with another 60 cans (in my defence, it wasn't only me who drank all the previous supplies. Hubby started on my ciders several nights as well.....)

Haha, I didn't go there until I was 7, and probably a good few years after you. I wonder if you were in my sister or btother's year though? They were born in 1965 and 1968.

Must pay the Ancient High House a visit again soon, not been for a while. Retail visited exhibition will be especially interesting remembering everything from when I was a kid in the late 50's ,

I have a long distant relationship with an owl in a tree

She says..

SHaW take on the homeless , drug users, alcoholics and the flat footed, and so you may find yourself in a far more interesting queue than say, some other time zone, like Rising Brook

Castlefields failed to appoint a replacement GP , then joined up with Weepy Cross

Any other questions?

Oh yes, all your personal details are now ' out there '

I was classed as a 'geriatric mum' when I was in the maternity ward. Had him one week before my 40th ......that's why I stayed so young , I was still enjoying going out and living it up like a teenager up until then
My mother was also classed as that, I was born about 6 weeks before her 41st.
