Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

It is being fully gutted internally which is a bit of a shame having a refit so soon after it was initially opened as the original post house, but so be it, guess the new owners needed to make their mark and needed to be a bit more than a lick of paint.
I wonder if it had been damaged by being empty for so long? Fair play to them for having a crack at it

I don't wish this business anything other than success but how will reopening exactly what was there before, which failed, make it succeed?

Better management.

I think the former PH tried to be too many things. A nightclub and a high end restaurant don't fit well together. It sounds like the new place will be more focused on food with a
bar area.

Wasn’t there an issue that the original licensee lost his licence just a few weeks before Christmas then tried to sign it over to one of his (adult) children but they weren’t an appropriate person either so they had to be bring-your-own-booze in the restaurant in the run up to Christmas which screwed them over?

It's some chairs and some drink

And a bit of meat

Utopia for some

Just another reminder of their ugly neighbours , for others

Stay in

Eat yourself slim

Payment issues with staff and suppliers. That sort of thing.

They definitely had an issue with staff, there resident DJ who we had booked for our wedding reception in October 2017 didn't turn up as he was owed money and was in dispute about whose DJ equipment it was and we suffered

wasn't the sign over by Mr Foster to his children to do with a tax issue( allegedly) to do with the tax man/ creditors going after assests?

Apparently the old Min’s Kitchen on Martin Street is now a small Virtual Reality venue with a bunch of simulators in.

Never thought I’d see one of those pop up on my doorstep to be honest. Seems they were in Telford before.

To be honest it's been like that for a couple of months...
