Know I'm not quite 'all here' with fluid where my brains should be between my ears at the moment
.. But, now thinking I really aren't here sitting on the sofa at home ..... My phone has just told me I'm in The Spink's Nest pub in Huddersfield right now

( Don't know where it's plucked that location from, I've never been anywhere near Huddersfield in my life)

Oh sweetie, have you ever really been 'all there'' with us?
I've had a good giggle at times with the stuff you've done xx

You're lucky there is something there. Following a head scan the doctor told Mrs Noah "I've had a look at your head scan and there is nothing there". After sending me to have my ears syringed an audiologist peered into one ear and told me "That's much better I can see all the way through now". It has to be said that in both cases a look of horror spread over their faces once they realised what they had said and they got very embarrassed trying to correct what they had said.

We had just been discussing holidays, as hubbys boss wants him to think of dates to put in for the year ,over this weekend. Maybe it's a sign we should try Huddersfield for a change

I wouldn't recommend Huddersfield itself apart from it has some good pubs and restaurants but there are some nice villages nearby if you like scenery and walks.

Or just stay at home and carry on taking whatever you're on and you could go to any planet you want without even travelling :)

Huddersfield - in the top ten places for heaviest rainfall in England

But nowhere near as much as Cardiff - which is actually in Wales ( on the left )

Think I'll stick to the Lanzarote plans then (although they had the first rainfall for months last year while we were there ....)

Actually yesterday when en route to the match.

We called into a Spoons in Manchester and when it was my round I ordered via the Wetherspoons app because you get served a lot quicker.

One of my mates couldn't understand how the beer magically appeared so I jokingly told him every fourth round was free. He then couldn't understand how they knew what our round was as it had changed three times for previous rounds.

We then left the pub and my mate was more than a little paranoid that the Wetherspoons Big Brother had been watching us throughout.

I love the Spoons app, developed by a company with a presence here in Stafford, Zonal. It's been handy for me solo at airports and needing to order food.

I walked around Tamar Lake this morning in sunshine and showers. Just short of halfway round I spotted a spectacular rainbow set against a big rain cloud, directly opposite in the sky to the Sun. I pulled out the camera and pressing the shutter button to which it beeped and said 'Replace battery.'
I got the back up battery in but would you believe it, the rainbow just disappeared, as if someone had switched it off. :gonk:
For the rest of the walk anybody I passed on the path and said hello were greeted with a grunt and a few 'bah humbugs' I had left over from Christmas. :embarrass::emo:

It's also really handy when in a crowded pub cos you get served a lot quicker and you don't have to fight your way through crowds.

Only downside is you don't get the full selection of real ales.
