Any good? Been so long since we went the pictures.Last Christmas
Ah! I wanted to see this but heard other reviews that said it was bad, glad you thought it was good, back on my list of must sees nowWe went to see Knives Out at lunchtime today, a bit nippy but great screen and a great price with a friendly service - I imagine a more full screen would be warmer.
Knives Out was excellent and I'm really glad we caught it at the cinema.

My sources say you just turn up. They also say that if it's not a film that's especially popular, bring a warm coat.I'm going to sound so gormless now, but do we have to book? Or can you just roll up and pay at the door?
Seems a realistic expectation....If they changed the seating to the same as the new Odeon and had more leg room, then I would use it. But until then I won't.
Well you'll have to continue paying to go to the Odeon. Sitting on the gangway row gives you more leg room you know.If they changed the seating to the same as the new Odeon and had more leg room, then I would use it. But until then I won't.
Doubt anyone will be lovely surprised but sad nevertheless.

Sticking your legs into the gangway isn’t a solution. Plus the seats are very uncomfortable. So yes I’m quite happy to pay to go to the Odeon and watch a film in comfort. Stafford has needed a modern cinema for decades and now it finally has one.Well you'll have to continue paying to go to the Odeon. Sitting on the gangway row gives you more leg room you know.
I dread to think how much a complete refurb would cost. Instead people who can no longer afford to go to most cinemas can visit this one.
