Best potholed road in Stafford

My vote will go to corporation street.
I had this misfortune to use it the other day when the low loader shed its load on the Asda roundabout and drove down there quite slow as I remember my first visit a good year back (at least) almost sent the front nearside strut out through the bonnet.
Dear O Lord what a mess and only got worse over the past year(s)

Mind you the same road at the lights with Weston road is shaping up to be a contender at some stage, as is .....................

The sight of humps with potholes in is such a metaphor for our current condition.

Douglas Road may have achieved an even higher concentration, though.

In my experience Corporation Street is fairly consistent all year round with its holes. Obviously peaks during the winter months.

New Street surely, nothing much left of the actual road there.

Top of Radford bank in the right hand lane as well. Seen a few near misses with people driving over the wrong side of the lines to avoid them.
(Is the hub cap still lying on the white line there as well , that's been there for weeks? Thought about dodging the traffic to move it onto the pavement as I'm pretty sure one of these days someones going hit it and send it hurtling in my direction. But left it, as well as risking being run over, the last time I retrieved one from the road I got black oily hands !)

A34 Stone Rd from Holmcroft Rd to the Crispin takes some beating, as it's a major route yet apparently invisible to Them. Doxey rd is another beauty and probably doesn't comply with the rules. We're spoiled for choice.

That wouldn't be fair to the handful of sections that are smooth, eg, Aston roundabout, Redhill traffic lights.

My god, where to start!

The Somme is pretty bad but getting resurfaced soon. . Link road by the Shire Horse

Roundabout at the top of town by the new Aldi
Top of Sandon Road has craters in it
Beaconside up by Tollgate
Mini roundabout by the station

The list is endless and given the fact that my Councillor admitted only 80 percent repairs are done its not going to get any better... Ever.

Keep voting Conservative chaps and then moaning at the consequences...

The one at the mini roundabout by the train station isn't so much a pothole but a crevasse.

I've just driven back from Worcester with a fridge crammed in the back of my little car, trying to drive sooooooo carefully . Only problems I had (apart from having to get out of the potholed lane 1 approaching Stafford , as it was nearly launching it through the glass) was when I got to Stafford. First time in the whole journey It was bump bump bump. Silkmore lane bridge is exceptionally bad!
