I have to be honest with you all, I'm really glad in a way that i've had to go to work during this time.
I suffer dreadfully from depression at times, and being cooped up at home and not being allowed to leave the house,
would seriously impact on my mental health.
Unfortunately, or not as the case may be, I start 8 days annual leave from 20.30hrs.
.
It keeps hitting me in waves, but mostly in the evening. Maybe we'll adjust one day. Maybe.
I'm completely opposite from you, I absolutely dread going to work every single day, and would relish the opportunity to stay at home.I have to be honest with you all, I'm really glad in a way that i've had to go to work during this time.

Would you notice the difference?
I could possibly make a trip to every alcohol aisle in town, buy up all the cider and just get off my trolley.
Lockdown is almost 'business as usual' for me. The interests that I really care about are all indoor interests so the chance to pursue them, even though the weather's looking up, is more than welcome - no distractions like having to go shopping. And if I get bored with one hobby, there's always another one that needs attention. I'm finding the news a bit tedious though. I've stopped following Twitter for now - too many moaning dickheads, I suspect, if it's anything like the radio phone-ins.I am weirdly enjoying this, if I'm honest. .....
Tbh I'm not paying much attention to the news either, just keeping my head down.Lockdown is almost 'business as usual' for me. A 20K ride to eat a banana? Couldn't you find somewhere a bit closer?Nice 20k ride to the chase to eat a banana ....
Buy some marigolds as you're going round. (Or buy less scotch. )Asda still haven’t, so over £45 you still have to get your card out and enter your PIN on an unsanitised keypad, vs just tapping your phone to pay.
Nice 20k ride to the chase to eat a banana then back via town and the Isobel trail. Saw lots of families, especially on the canal path. Everyone friendly, seeming rather happy, I could get used to this.
Hmmm .... I tend to agree.I'd say he did stay local he didn't drive to get there just used a bicycle to exercise as per government's advice.
There's no limit on Apple pay in *Sainsbury's, its not capped like Tesco & AsdaAll well and good increasing the contactless limit by £15, but it’s fruitless if supermarkets aren’t going to enable uncapped mobile payments on their readers

Whilst we're no doubt all aware of the "stay at least 2m from anyone not in your household wherever possible" thing, there should be something to the effect "don't do anything that would risk someone else having to come within 2m". Driving to the Peak District (and ending up crashing the car, say) is somewhat more risky than going for a 60 minute walk (or a 20k bike-ride, I guess).
