Cashback?

Which - if any - supermarkets still do this?

I see banks cutting back their hours and am asking for a relative. I saw some news stories about Sainsbury stopping the service. so now I'm unsure....

Asda were doing cashback but not been there for a few weeks. Sainsbury's stopped over a year ago, redirecting to the cashpoints outside. The other thing to consider is most places want you to pay by card now.

That's fair enough. It's not a feature I've been able to use for several years, so wasn't sure if it was still even a thing.

Asda definitely were doing cashback on the self service tills before the lockdown but I haven't checked since.

Failing that there are cash machines outside most of the big supermarkets if they don't need to have a person actually issuing the pennies.

Sainsbury's are not doing cashback at tills, and the self scan tills don't have the ability to give cashback.

There's a machine outside.

I've got to ask, why on earth is anyone needing cash when nowhere is taking it?

I have an older relative who still uses cash.

Oddly where I am all the stores will do cashback on debit. Even the local equivalent of B&Q, and we may be even more cashless than you.
