Tesco has been it's busiest it's been since lock down and some just for a 4 pack. What a real shame, they are putting others and themselves at risk for what? Are people getting itchy feet where they feel the shops are a great way to spend your time outdoors? I saw my neighbor go out and back twice this morning coming back with shopping bags both times. Another neighbor has family who dont live within her house in and out of her house and picking her up and going out. Maybe I'm too critical of them as it's none of my business but in the past week I have lost 2 family members to coronavirus and I really do not fancy losing any more :(
People are still coming in daily at my works, for a newspaper & lottery ticket.

Selfish tw@ts.

As pundits posture, the public are right behind Boris Johnson in his coronavirus battle

Is this a good time to repeat my 'alien spaceship hiding in the asteroid belt and aiming an insanity beam at the Earth' theory … ?:heyhey:

This 5G thing is going to be a permanent part of our anti-intellectual landscape, now, isn't it?

One almost feels like there is some sort of parallel to the actual transmission path of the very real virus - puff out digital 'click-bait' that will interact with the 'receptors' of genuine 'idiots' that will take hold - replicate - then be set free by an entire twitterstorm, or facenado, of bollocks.

In a population that still appears to have no immunity to this shite whatsoever.

Joining the 'anti-vax' and 'flat-earth' assault on intellectualism, one fears it will gain the same sort of traction as the aforementioned, and will now be as pervasive as a resurgent Measles.

Well done shit heads.

Went for a walk today, everybody is so considerate and polite, apart from these lovely guys, they cycled the whole way down the path side by side, I told them to move over and they shouted that me and my child should be walking in the nettles so that they can cycle together. What is wrong with people!

Had to drive over the Chase today for essential supplies. Far fewer people on bikes and a distinct change in the proportion of types. Most seemed to be people in relatively normal clothes, social distancing, acknowledging other (non-cycling) people, smiling, behaving like normal human beings. Still one or two lycra louts, tearing along, head down, "I'm the only person who matters, my time over the distance matters, everyone has to get out of my way, everyone else is responsible for my safety ... Good to see so few of them, the change is noticeable and apart from these lycra berks all types of users are getting on much better.

So is the chase worth a 10-15 minute drive for a socially distance workout. I've been staying close to home but would like to pass as few people as possible whilst exercising.

:ohno:

We had a walk later tonight as there's too many out near us in the daytime letting their kids cycle off in front and pass so close .

A bloke with his dog on the other side of the road to us for quite a way tonight had it loose all the way and kept letting it run up to other dogs on leads. Then he was going right up to the dog owners to grab his dogs collar each time :ohno:. Passing people walking the other way right close to them as well. Scary some just don't seem to care.
