There be no dragons left on the Chase, sadly.
In 'normal' times, they organise hunting parties.

Ahhh I'm talking about times in the 80's .. huge numbers of bikers from all over the Midlands used to gather there on a summer evening. :|

Me too. But I never got into a fight I didn't lose …. (mind you, I was riding a Triumph Trident, talk about a quick 'fu** off quick before it get's out of hand.') :heyhey:

Having said that as a joke, I don't remember it ever having being that much troublesome. It was always more about the bikes and the run than daft macho shite.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I don't remember any agro really to be honest. Went at first in a CB250N then, when I passed my test, in a 750 Nighthawk so quite obviously I'd have buggered off at the first sign of trouble...

That's how I remember it. Sat outside on a warm summer evening, admiring all the shiny bikes parked up. Proper biking purely for the enjoyment of it. Talking to riders who were there for the pure joy of it. I kinda miss those days … but they are still out there, sadly, they tend to be a bunch of old farts (like me.) ;)

Of course, if some dumb f***** turns up on a Vespa … ya feed him (and his 'bike') into the nearest woodchipper …. :heyhey:

(Only joking.)

(Sort of.) :o
