The slow crawl out of self distancing

No, they've turned thhe inserts upsoide down so the ball only drops in half way down - you can still hole out.
Well done to them. Can't understand why a place like Hawkstone Park would have them raised....greenkeepers still need to handle them to cut the greens...

More frustratingly they didn't mention it when I booked the round (and all the bunkers were GUR as well). It was all a little underwhelming....

Bunkers are back in play for the first time this year (they had been really wet), but rakes have been removed, as per England Golf guidelines.

We're soon likely to be able to take a guest as a greenfee if you're ever interested.

I'm expecting the upturn to start next Thursday; 3 weeks after the Tories briefed the papers that lockdown would be over.

I came to the same conclusion myself.

However , it has to be said that lockdown isnt over yet , even though some think it is and are out and about every 2 minutes.
Some restrictions have been lifted , some shops will begin trading soon , however the general guidance is still to stay at home where possible.

The term 'stay alert' rather than 'stay at home' is nothing more than a 'get out clause' for the government.

should be an 'interesting' few weeks ahead.

We will either self-isolate, and practice social distancing, or lose ourselves.

If we are going to confuse the two, i'm all for social-isolation, but baulk at self distancing. I mean, how would that even work?

Regardless of the pace we engage it at?

Hopefully, they all remained alert.

Although they may not be fully onboard with the use of metric linear units.

When I see scenes like that, i'm thinking why can't they just open the pubs now, it seems a free for all anyway!

The asda queue was very good the other day, they was right next to each other what's the point?

Oh and of course, those people that have to have a chat on the paths, or in the supermarkets wherever, they might be social distancing, but then you're forced to walk through the middle of 2 people!

I use to love going down the canal, can't do that anymore for reasons i've stated, it seems everyone loves it now.

/Rantover I hate people, have a good day

Is the pic actually from yesterday or just a stock pic they roll out when they want?
