It may have already been mentioned ( I haven’t read all the replies) but I can’t look after my 4 & 6 year old granddaughters while my son & daughter in law are working & they’re struggling to get childcare. I’ll have to move to Durham so they can then legally drive them up to stay with us. I was generally in favour of the way most of the Covid crap has been handled, that opinion has changed overnight.

Someone I know has defended the governments actions because, and I quote, the british public are too stupid to follow lockdown anyway so there's no point. Unfortunately after brexit, the last election and people clapping for doctors they voted to underfund she may be right.

So stupid in fact that they will vote them in again at the next election too :mystery:

It's against parliamentary code for an advisor to speak like this. If he doesn't resign, and why would he when he thinks he's better than everyone, Starmer is going to have an absolute field day at PMQs next week.

Having stuck to the rules, and not seen son since it all kicked off before lockdown, thinking we are the only ones actually sticking to them around here. Listening to all the gatherings in many surrounding gardens seems I've missed the announcement that it's all over and back to normal in our part of the woods.

Thats been the case ever since lockdown started around here too.
Thats why it is so disgusting to see them clapping every thursday after being out and about all day.
The biggest bugbear i have is those same people will try and shame others for doing the same thing , some folk think they are above it all. they are not .

Having stayed at home now for close on 13 weeks , i can honestly say no one around here has stuck to the rules at all.

Dont get me wrong , i get that some things need to be done, However as ive said before theres only so many shopping trips per day you can make before the 'essential' bit wears off.

And so we reach the part of the X Factor where the grannies favorite has been filmed shouting drunken racist abuse at the toilet attendant!.

There are two options leave the show or it’s time for ‘ The X Factor sob story!!!!!

But it will have to be good enough! Will the grannies cry?

Tissues and popcorn at the ready. Here’s Dominic performing ‘I never promised you the truth in a Rose Garden’

Isn’t toilet attendant abuse generally reserved for X Factor judges?

Who the feck goes on a 50 mile round trip to test your eyesight? What a knob.

Should have gone to Specsavers.
I've literally just spent the last hour laughing at his replies, shame none on the journalists could think quickly enough to fire back more questions to his stupid answers.
