Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

H Samuel looks like it's decided it doesn't have faith in the customers returning after the crisis, so has cut its losses. :(

Not good, I'm sure this won't be the only retailer looking at their portfolio.

Since M&S closed that end of town has pretty much had it for footfall.

I would of thought F&B would of been tied into a long lease for their Stafford site being as it's so new ?

Part of the Restaurant Group company which was not doing very well financially before lockdown. They are tending to close the likes of Frankie & Benny, Chiquito and Garfunkels to concentrate on Wagamamas Could be the Stafford F&B will morph into a Wagamama.

My concern is that The Restaurant Group acquired Brunning & Price. It would be very sad if The Fox goes down with the ship.

The moment Frankie and Benny's lost their "Italian/New York charm" and dropped their quality was the moment we stopped going. When they were at the Hough, their pizzas were some of the best I've every had....
