That's a different matter and bang out of order.
It's no different to how @gilbert grape described it, we've had to put up with an awful lot of noise lately. Not only because of the new road build, but it wasn't that long ago, there was 4 lads on trials bikes, they would go up and down the Doxey Road, revving the arses off their bikes for hours.
You can't have windows open due to the noise and dust pollution, then you get the boy racers............ It's horrible, for everyone.

Enjoying a drop of red.

Heard them around Kingston Hill this weekend too, zipping up and down like it’s an F1 track

no noise in and around Forebridge, just a neighbor that likes to hack his lungs up at 0630am EVERY morning and seeming shout down the phone to his friends.......A mild annoyance, but bearable.

Bastard birds have been waking me up at about 5am every morning with their fecking twittering. I've had to start sleeping with the windows closed. I've tried reporting them to the police & environmental services but they can't do anything. Has anyone tried that for the boy racers? You never know it might be more effective than posting here.

The council informed us (at work) today, that all Council car parking charges will resume as of Monday 15th June.

Are they going to accept coins again or will I have to pay by phone?
As far as I know, coins will be OK, but I'm not completely sure.

Sainsbury's usually give you your car parking back when you shop. However, at the moment none of the (main bank) tills or cashiers are accepting or handling cash. So, it has caused much discussion today.

I read on a newsfeed article that popped up earlier, that the parking charges will resume on 15th. But health workers who display their permit will be exempt from paying at council run carparks in Stafford.

Four weeks of disruption on Station Road.

Read all about it.
I got stuck in that earlier, decided to go home the other way, over Queensway, to find that there are roadworks along there too.

'Bridge Maintenance' - both sides down to one lane each.
Were there massive queues by Tesco as well @littleme ? Got to go to pick up my 'Click & Collect' mid morning next week, but will try to reschedule if it's too bad at the moment .:hmm:
