Can someone please explain to me what is going on?

Is someone on this forum pretending to be me, or making out that messages are from me?

I think it was just @littleme multitasking - badly...
It was, I was replying to a message @Carole had posted, but then decided not to, and replied to @Lucy instead, but I think the post code kept @Carole at the top of the reply, which made it look like it was @Carole not @Lucy

My fault entirely. Sorry for not noticing earlier, all fixed now.

But points to @Carole as you top trumped @Lucy even though it was her reply

Totaly my fault.

I couldn’t make head nor tail of that last night after too much prosecco but I think I understand now.

I am a little confused over the 1 metre plus rule coming to play. It was said it will be reduced in places where it is not possible to social distance 2 metres. Tesco (and maybe some other major supermarkets) are changing their rule to 1 metre this week. I'm confused because surely if they have been doing 2 metres it is possible to stay at 2 metres, there are no extra measures being out in place so to me it just sounds like a free for all once the rule is relaxed. In other countries that have relaxed the rule they have made it mandatory to wear a face mask, but not in this country. I guess we will see where this all leads.

So there not legally required to introduce additional control measures when reducing the distance to 1m+ I thought that what the plus meant i.e 1m plus additional mitigation?

Quite, but the rules are so wishy washy that they'll push it as far as they can. I will be masking up in all shops from now on.

No it's certainly not just you. I have just had to go to the other side of Uttoxeter so called into Tesco's on the retail park on the way back.

No anti bacterial spray for the trolleys, no handgel, no marshalls, no one way system compliance, no social distancing. I was crapping myself so grabbed what I needed and left as quickly as possible.

Totally the opposite of the Stafford store so
I shan't be visiting that branch in a hurry!!!

At least it will all be over on Saturday and we can return to the carefree normal, whatever that is nowadays!!! Well at least until the second spike happens.
Sainsbury's Stafford still has queues outside, but it now opens at 7am and that is for everyone, there is no provision for NHS or the elderly in the morning anymore.

The queueing system to pay is also still operating inside, with everyone queuing in Isle 21 for tills & self scans.... *UNLESS...

.... if you have used Smart Shop (the app on your phone) you DO NOT have to queue to pay, head straight the the self scans nearest the exit doors when you have finished shopping, and you can pay & leave straight away!

*Other stores may have different rules.

I had a horrible time today, customer absolutely refused to move away from me to the designated packing place at the end of the till (3rd one this week to refuse to stand 2 meters away) a lot of throwing of goods & shouting about not conforming to our stupid rules occurred, which ended in my refusing to serve the customer and walking away.

People do not care one little bit. Protect yourself as well as you can, as everyone else is just thinking about themselves.

If the facebook cretins are anything to go by I'm afraid there is more of this to come, shame you don't have security there :(

We do, but they weren't available at the time, had they been there at the time I'm told they would of been removed from the premises.
