How long do you get to keep your table for? Enjoy and let us know how it goes :pint:
Some colleagues at work were talking about this the other day, sounds like you only get an hour or 2 at a table, depending on your booking, and you can only order 5 drinks... Not sure if that's each, or between you.

It sounds more complicated than the barbers....

Didn't realise you could order drinks at the barbers. May have to pay a visit instead of doing it myself.

Do you know if they do wine?

Only 5 Drinks ?? I suppose that's better than the 3 pints each I heard suggested somewhere a couple of months ago (As long as it's 5 drinks each).

We'd have to order off just my phone, as hubbys only got an ancient phone . So looks like we may be even more limited if it only allows 5 per phone...

I know The Bod said theirs was 1 hour 45 minutes per booking slot , with 15 minutes inbetween for cleaning before the next customers booking.

Had an email off Marstons advertising they were opening their pubs and accommodation. But if you stay there your room is your own little bubble and no staff can come into the room during the stay. So no room cleaning , and have to request anything you need each time from reception for the room .
Their meals can be taken in the pub, or taken to your room to eat. Not my sort of holiday that, eating a pub meal in a hotel bedroom.

I've got no idea about pubs to be honest, we never go unless it's a family meal, no one in our direct family wants to go, the opinion seems to be that everyone would rather have 6 people socially distanced in their garden for drinks, than go to a pub.

I honestly can't see why people do want to go go a pub either at this time? Maybe I'm weird.

Our idea of going to the pub, as well as just sitting at our own little table, is having a chat with others around the pub. If we just have to sit there and not move , other than to go on the one way system to the loo and straight back ,we might as well have a few drinks in at home.

Someone sent my son a message re his pub today.

‘Are you showing the Man City v Liverpool match tonight and if so do you have any tables free?”

So not only have they not got the message that the pubs don’t open until Saturday, they haven’t realised that Leicester is still in lockdown.

Oh, be fair!

At least they've got the 'booking a table' bit.

Nor have they understood that pubs won't be allowed to show live sport.

S'alright, good old Bo Jo is doing a press conference tomorrow to tell us all to use British common sense. What on earth could go wrong.

I have a paramedic friend who is on duty on Saturday night, she is dreading it.

Some pubs have a booking system, others have a just turn up but you'll have to queue if we've reached our number limit system. Time limits I've seen vary from 1 hour to no time limit. Not seen any drinks limits. Hairdressers don't seem to be serving tea or coffee, let alone anything stronger.

My phone played up as the hairdresser was telling me the new rules, so just read email from them... as well as extra £5 sanitisation charge informed of by phone (that wasn't mentioned on the email)...no drinks, magazines, turn up on smack on time and on your own, it says only bring your payment method with you, no additional things like handbags , shopping, etc and only coats if you really must and those go into a plastic bag on arrival. Face masks must be worn by customers, they will supply unless you want to wear your own.
