It all depends on the connections. Most now are HDMI, so you need one with lots of HDMI sockets* but the video will usually want a SCART or a phono style input (3 round cables - Yellow, white and red). Casting from the tablet is done via something else usually, like a chromecast plugged into a HDMI socket.
Personally I'm not a fan of getting everything in one, unless the price is similar to not doing so. Things change fast and TVs are replaced less frequently, what is top of the range now may feel slow in 3 years. What size TV and what budget? I'll take a look, do you use any online services or just sky?.
*You can get external switches to increase these
Have you found a decent HDMI switch tek? We only have 2 ports so got a switch for the TV, fire TV and Chromecast but it lasted about a month before it stopped working.
Some of the Sony TVs still have scart connections for the videos recorders. You should be able to cast your phone and tablet with the smart functions. PlayStation will work with the hdmi connections.Does anyone know of a tv that will allows you to connect your play station and your DVD and get sky and connect a video recorder too and will let you cast things from your tablet too.
OR
Do we have to buy gadgets to set all that up on one tv.
thanks
