Goodness knows why, but it turned out to be some ebay scam...

I went to town Aldi today, there was no queues, no sanitizer to wipe the trolley, and no-one monitoring people going into the store.
I wish I'd gone to Sainsburys now....

Or use a snood or a scarf or an old t shirt.

Plenty are making reusable ones for charity. I've seen single use ones strewn down country lanes, there's really no need for them. I really like mine, money for it went to Women's Aid.

What time were you there?
I was in Aldi in town today, just after lunch.
No queue, although I did wait while the person in front of me sanitised their trolley. There was definitely a section on the entrance with two spray bottles and two big blue rolls.

I felt very comfortable in there. Aisles big enough that you can go in any direction and not many people in there at all.

That mask looks very funky, but is it triple layered?

Also it doesn’t seem to have the thin strip of wire at the top that you bend over your nose to seal the gap?

I’ve noticed lots of people selling pretty masks on line and for charity, but unless they have 3 layers and the wire seal then they are not much use.

It's double layered with a filter pocket. Kitchen roll is an adequate filter. There's a wire on the nose bridge, that picture was taken before I'd worked out how to shape it properly.

The one Johnson keeps wearing is only single layered I'm sure. I bought some like that really early on from Wowcher.

wanna see my snake?
Got 100 for 9 quid off amazon the other day, for 2 of us will easily last 2 months as only leave the house a few times a week and never for more than 4 hours unless hiking.

I went in just before 2, place was rammed. I had intended to go to Lidl, but the diesel light came on yesterday so,,,,, off I popped to Asda and pulled into Aldi on the way home. Totally forgetting about Lidl!

In addition to reducing airborne particles, my mask has the incidental feature of helping to maintain social distancing . . .
