Stark statement !!! No full stop !!! (This is a bit omnibus )
Wrote that just before having to sit down on a wall on the walk back to my car, when the rest of the blood in my head drained out of it

Tooth fairy will be bringing cider?
Dentist did tell me to drink but not eat for a while , although somehow I don't think he meant cider (even though that's the first thing that came into my head  ).
Cider on hold for a while as been given another course of antibiotics and want them to work well.

Turns out the 'deep clean' the new dentist I had to see last week told me I needed was of not much benefit at all. If I'd have seen this usual dentist in the first place, the tooth would have been out and done with all in one go , saved a wasted £35 on the hygienist , and not have to pay another £22.70 charge to see him today

Dentist is anticipating having to close again soon with the threat of shutdowns looming....

.... and the tooth fairy will put a tanner under your pillow. (Sadly, fairies couldn't give a shit about inflation.) :P
Still got a jar full of tanners in a jar , along with a few farthings and other 'old money' (forgot to bring this tooth home with me though ....)

How you feeling now @staffordjas ??
You on any painkillers?x
Feeling much better tonight thanks @Glam . I must have gone a ghostly colour at the end of it , not been told to lie back and close your eyes for 5 minutes by a dishy dentist before  Whacking painkillers down me as still got some infection , but hopefully this second lot of Amoxycillin will kill it off .

One tooth less to worry about in the future .... (He did say " Once this dies down we will do some work to fill the gaps". Don't know if 'this' is my mouth or the Pandemic....decided on that couch that I didn't care....I ain't going back for more work unless I'm in pain ! )

Contemplating a day out in Worcester on my own tomorrow, taking sons stuff down that I've got here for him while I can before any more lockdowns. . Then treat us to a chippy when he returns from work. Hubby's pulling a face and gone silent since I suggested it , doesn't like me enjoying myself while he's got to work.

I've just gone through the use by dates from the Tesco delivery we had last night and all of the veg and fruit have use by dates either today or tomorrow.

Also several meat products are well within the dates they're supposed to be.

When I called Tesco the customer service rep stated that the dates seemed reasonable!!! I pointed out that it was impossible to eat that amount of veg and fruit within the dates without either somebody exploding or the cottage rapidly running out of loo roll :)

One refund and £20 compensation on its way.

Use by dates on fruit and veg account for way too much waste.

Oh I totally agree with you and often eat either after the use by date but when I do my own shopping I select the items with the longest dates. The Tesco ordering site had the minimum number of days before the use by date and there's only so much fruit and veg we can eat in the time given hence why I complained.

I walked Tamar Lake this morning in dense cloud and mizzle/drizzle. This after a week of pretty glorious weather.

Today is the equinox, the Sun moves into the southern hemisphere !!! We're all now at the mercy of 'southern jessies.'

(Puts sackcloth on, cracks open another bottle of rum.) :P

You may be forgetting that, to those of us who stayed loyal to the lands of the Frozen North, you were demoted, many years ago in a previous century, to being a Southern Jessie.

A bit of proper engineering followed by a wander around the valley of the rocks followed by a mini pub crawl around Lynmouth.
