Hi all !
Any auntie locksmiths on here ? I need help today please . Need a new set of keys and coding done
Tia
All sorted ! Thank you
I rang round but no one answered their phones. So I carried out scouting the field for my keys , I found them ! I really do need to get a spare set done . That’s the plan for today
I’d never heard of a tile so I’ve just googled it.
Husband is always losing things so it would be an ideal gift for him.
I’ve just got a bit confused because there seems to be different options available.
Can anyone explain how they work and which would be the best option please?
For example, if you wanted to find wallet and keys would you need to buy two tiles?
.I lost several sets of keys, so I bought a tile. Not lost them since!
I have keys to my sisters home, as does she for here, along with the eldest and his gf. Them no problem, less than 2 minutes walk.I once had what I thought was a good system for getting back into the house, if I locked myself out.
I had someone else's front door key hanging up, slightly hidden, in my porch. It would be easily found by a seasoned burglar, but of little use to them, as the lock it fitted was a quarter of a mile away. My key was hanging in a similar location in their porch. Either of us could obtain our own key at any time without needing to bother the other person at all.
It seemed like a good, practical method, but then they moved away.
The other location does need to be a good way away and not a place that you might be noted as being strongly associated with.
We did once have a steady series of burglaries in the vicinity, all clearly done by somebody with extremely detailed local knowledge. It turned out to be someone who had moved across town a year before...
So if I buy the one with four tiles and put one on wallet, one on keys, one on phone etc.
Then what?
You have an app?
What happens if you lose one of those items?
How does it know that you’ve lost it? How does it tell you where it is?
I’m rubbish on gadgets and technology so anything specific would be really helpful thanks.
There was a scary correlation, but that does not equal causation!.
Isn't the rate of you losing keys proportional to square root of the amount of apple juice consumed?
