According to my Mum, as a small child, I would eat anything put in front of me, even veggies. Then I started school. She said I became a very fussy eater after that.

Think I was the same but am terrible now. And my seven year old knows what he likes and is
not really willing to try vegetables.

Garlic pizza, with extra garlic, garlic and a side helping of garlic.

God help anyone I meet on the Chase tomorrow...
That was us with the spaghetti bolognese I did other night. Youngest says we've become blind to the taste of garlic, so, I put half a jar of the pureed stuff in. Jesus, It was strong! I won't be getting my neck bitten by any vampires for a few years I reckon!

Got a couple of nice thick ribeye steaks from Hindles, together with some home made chips and some nice and juicy flat mushrooms. I've done the Mrs some aubergine nonsense that she likes and there's an Eton Mess in the fridge for afters. All ready to cook after the Tottenham match.

Opening the first of two nice bottles of burgundy now.

Spinach and ricotta cannelloni and salad tonight.
Even though we eat pasta regularly I’ve never made cannelloni from scratch before. (I haven’t made the actual cannelloni myself, I mean I’ve made the mix and filled the bought tubes, bit of a faff I thought).

Just had a bostin' takeaway Sunday dinner from Greens at Gnosall.
Juicy, tender lamb with roast and dauphinoise taters, parsnips, peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower cheese, sprouts, mint sauce and gravy. Mrs T had beef which was similarly well cooked and came with Yorkshire pud and horseradish sauce. All home cooked (as in not a massive catering kitchen) for £8 a pop.
Never had anything from here before, absolute bargain. Lovely grub, recommended for anyone within striking distance.

To celebrate the unbridled joy of the Mrs being allowed to reopen parts of her business next week, thanks to the bountiful dynamic duo of Johnson and Smirkeygobshite, we are truly pushing the boat out with a chippy from Weeping Cross. I think I may even treat myself to onion rings.

Sadly, as I had already had a glass of red before Mrs p made the executive decision, she will have to go and get it :)
