Anyone else, or just me? Could be coincidence, but died within minutes of a digger starting up in the garden opposite. Working from home ain't so easy when your phone doesn't work indoors either!

We have been having problems for about a week in ST17 0
Virgin Media say it should be fixed by 3:00pm today.

There's a box wide open on Foregate street letting the elements attack the cables and wires blowing about , so I expect whoever is served by that box to get little to no service.

Was down for less than an hour in the end, but the web page said estimated fix time 3pm. ST16 1 here, saw on FB that many in ST17 have had issues lately.

Lost my internet 3 times on Friday but ok since. Not had landline since some time last week and somebody supposed to be coming out on Friday so i had to say its ok for somebody to enter the house and that I'm in good health. I have no doubt it will start working before then, like it has before.

It's been on and off like I don't know what here. Haven't rung them, mainly because I couldn't be bothered.

Just a heads up that has your name listed, if you care about that sort of thing.

Yeahhh, though given I’ve made people aware what my trade is, and being literally the only place in Stafford that does VR work, I suspect if someone wanted to find out my name they could. Especially as the wife goes by her actual name on here, and an avid reader of the Express and Star would have clocked my cat last year in the paper.

I thought you'd have been aware, just wanted to make sure. I was getting threats on here a few years back, so always best to know!

Brodband - Fine
TV - Fine
Landline - Still off, which tells me its probably specific and should be fixable from outside as i checked the lines and even attached 2 different phones to test inside

It also seems that BT open reach have a problem in ST17 area. It has been dropping in and out of internet since yesterday afternoon and connection speed is very low.

Had my landline issue resolved. 2 chaps came out and did all the checks from box to house etc and found there was a broken connection outside the house. Fixed, tested and left in a short time.
No other issues to report.

Had loads of trouble with it Friday. The blokes were working on the drainage bit outside here. Everytime they used the drill, tinternet went off.

That could also be a loose connection then if it's intermittent. As they say - if you don't report it they won't do owt!
