What's a bender?

Sausage, round like Cumberland, but similar to a saveloy.

Bender burger was THE thing to HAVE after Saturday afternoon swimming/roller disco in the 80's.

My mate's mum would always give us money to get a Wimpy from the shed that is now Casa after we'd been swimming at Riverside.

My mate always had the Bender and chips meal but I preferred the burger on a toasted bun whatever they were called.

Happy memories but from the 70s in my case :)

Chilli and rice.

Going shopping tonight, for the first time in three weeks, things were getting a bit restricted, so it was a tin of emergency chilli from the Shed stash, to avoid the danger of shopping on an empty stomach..

I noted that I had to find a tin opener for it and found that had it a date of 2012 on the bottom.

All seems fairly well, so far.

Lazy tea tonight. Sausages and baked beans on toast, followed by rice pudding with raspberry jam. This goes very well with red wine or diet Tango, if you are p jr.

As Mrs p is away this evening we will be watching a Bond film now, at high volume...

Forgot about the cheese on toast and had a takeaway from EotO.
He had the usual, chicken curry, no veg and egg fried rice. Mine was chicken chow mein with no onions. We're such finiky bugas!
