Lentil spag bol!

Usually I complain when the husband makes enough spaghetti for a family of five but it's -7 today and the heating barely works so I made enough pasta for a family of six...

I figured we would burn the calories for warmth!

Steak Diane, buttery mash & roasted carrots.

You know you have the perfect marriage when you both love Steak Diane, but one of you doesn't like mushrooms and one of you doesn't like steak...

Steak Diane for the carer, Mushroom Diane for me....

Left over tomato sauce from yesterdays pizza with pasta and Linda McCartney sausages!

Throwing in a couple of chillies too!
Oooo that sounds like our tea last night, left over courgette & carrot grated, a pepper, 2 onions, some random cherry Tom's, 2 tins chopped plumb tomatoes, jalapeños, chilli and pasta!

Tonight, pork steaks smothered in mustard & stuffing, *roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrot n sweede mash & red cabbage, and gravy.

Potatoes, parsnips, mash& cabbage are all frozen 'extras' that I've hoarded in the freezer, just in case..... Quick n easy tea for the carer.

We had chicken parmigiana with jacket potatoes and steamed broccoli. Very nice it was too.
Seven year old had just the chicken without any sauce or cheese and loved it. Winner winner chicken dinner!
