I have some pieces of Cordyline trunk here in Woodseaves. It has a hard outer shell and a soft inner core. I've often thought that small lengths hollowed out would make nice, rustic looking tit boxes but don't have a lathe. You're more than welcome to have this and give it a go.

To keep me from terminal cabin fever I have just taken up wood turning in my shed, If anyone has any old wood, logs, branches etc i would be very grateful and would collect them from you,, maybe even make somthing for you if I can.

Thank you
We've recently had to chop down a cherry tree, 8 -10ft tall, is the wood any good to you?
Free if you can collect. Also metal gate for anyone who wants it!
