What's for dinner/tea?

I honestly can't think what I'd use it for?!?

Blimey, I thought everyone had a microwave.
I couldn’t manage without mine.

We use it for loads of things.
Reheating yesterday’s leftovers, making porridge, defrosting things quickly, cooking things that have been cooked then frozen (batch cooking).

I also cook loads of vegetables in the microwave rather than boiling the hell out of them, it’s a bit like steaming. Things such as peas, broccoli etc.

I even cook eggs in mine. A egg comes out similar to poached (but without the mess) in 60 seconds.

And of course, absolutely delicious baked potatoes!,

Grilled tomatoes? How do you do that?

Apparently his car needs a run, so takeaway curry for us tonight.
Just cut them in half and zap on a plate - poached, rather than grilled, perhaps - hence the 'grilled'.

My car hasn't moved this year - I'll start it again next Wednesday.

We didn't have one for the most of last year and I can't say I missed it, bought a new one a few months ago, so far I've used it to re-heat my stone cold forgotten coffee and minime has cooked noodles in it.

I mostly use it to hide food in.

I didn't have one for forty years once - apart from seeing a demonstration in 1970 illustrating why you shouldn't hang around in front of a radar installation.
