I didn't have a great night, I woke up at 2am in agony, arm was absolutely killing & I could barely move it, banging headache, joints aching and I was boiling hot. Bloody injection is horrible, I do hope the second doesn't cause the same problems.

If you are having the vaccine keep some paracetamol handy, it took the headache away and knocked the edge off the joint pain. Hopefully it'll only last 24 hrs.

To top that off work phoned to ask if I could cover someone's shift & I've had to say no, as I can barely move my arm.

Ach, sorry you've experienced that. My folks had a sore arm for a few days but that's it. Hope you're feeling better today?

Hope you are feeling better soon @littleme

Hubby had the same Astra Zeneca jab at the showground yesterday and he's absolutely fine with his. Just got a slight ache in his arm at the injection point, nothing uncomfortable.
I've just got a slight ache after the Pfizer on Thursday, but can hardly tell it's there.

I thought I had got away with no side effects as I was fine when I went to bed. The headache and aching limbs have gone, but I can barely move my arm.

Having said that, it's definatly worth a few days discomfort if it helps everyone to get back to some sort of normal. Just everyone be prepared, it's only a few days, & more than worth it in the long run.

I do wonder why there's nowhere on the NHS covid app to enter that you have received a vaccination... Seems strange.

And why is there a part to fill in covid test results, but I don't have any kind of code that's needed on my sms results. :q:

The C19 by Zoe app is gathering information about your first jab and batch nr. Apparently they're keen to gather data on people who have been jabbed. You report in every day as per usual.

Is the Zoe one different to the NHS one then?

*edit, I see it is. Strange the NHS one doesn't do the same.

I didn't get a batch number on my card I was given at the time of my jab , nor on hubbys card. Just says Pfizer and Astra Zeneca on both.

I got one. A combination of letters and numbers: Oxford AZ AB0008
Nothing on mine...

They scribbled the details of the jab on a bit of paper for me, didn't get a card. I'll have to remember to take it with me for the second jab. :hmm:

Hubby's just said that he mentioned about not having a batch number on the day , and they said to just take the card saying date and vaccination type to next appointment. Then they will look back and see which batch number it was that day (Or something like that....)

Yep they had a laptop in the Church where I was done and they clearly had all my details. Even God is online these days .... :heyhey:
