Great to be alive though isn't it?!1st day back at work after my Covid jab exploits, thought I was ok, but boy did it take it out of me... Shattered.
Very much so....but also very aware of how fragile we are, considering we've fought through all this time with no problems...Great to be alive though isn't it?!
Aren't people supposed to be cutting back on alcohol if they've recently had the jab in order to help tge body build up immunity for the first week or two? After jumping on the scales and finding the weight has started creeping back on , decided I'd better get back into my dieting and walking mode.
Forced myself to get out there, but ended up enjoying the walk so much I just kept going, going, going.....
Ended up pacing it for 3 & 1/4 hours and doing 13.4 miles in total including lots of steep hills.
Got me back into my 'being good' mode . Just got to resist the ciders tonight now .......
Oh shit. I hope my second jab works then.Aren't people supposed to be cutting back on alcohol if they've recently had the jab in order to help tge body build up immunity for the first week or two?
Must go now, I've a bottle of red to uncork...

A lot of garbage has been written about this but there is some evidence that the equivalent of 1 pint of beer a day helps boost the immune response while the equivalent of 4 pints a day suppresses it. So it's pot luck with 2 or 3 pints then.
There is never a wrong time to have a wine delivery.Chose the wrong time to have a ' Fine Wine ' delivery of 12 bottles the other day
As I understand it, there is no evidence that alcohol consumption impacts on the efficacy of the vaccine. Indeed, no restrictions, regarding alcohol consumption, were placed on those people who participated in the trials.
So, eat drink and be merry.
